South Asian University Students Blood Drive 2014

We are excited to announce that TAMill, CUTAM, and ISA McGill are partnering with our local community blood center to hold a blood drive on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Rockland Mall from 1:00PM to 7:30PM. We need all your support and participation in this drive. We are hoping to have generous volunteers who will be donating at a time of year where blood bank reserves are especially low. We hope to reach over 75 donations this year and encourage you to join us in reaching our goal and supporting this ongoing commitment to the South Asian community!
Those of us fortunate to be blessed with good health can share it through donating blood. Those of us who cannot donate can contribute by spreading the word. A blood donation can enable a premature baby to live, a burn victim to recover, a cancer patient to be treated, an accident victim to survive, or a transplant candidate to have life-saving surgery. There is a tremendous shortage of blood available to our hospitals and patients, especially from our community. Blood drives must reach a minimum of 100 daily donations to meet the transfusion needs in Montréal hospitals.
We can help contribute to this by making a donation on this day, inviting ALL your friends on facebook, and helping spread the message!
